Javier Baez, the power-hitting infielder currently playing for the Chicago Cubs' Triple-A team, will miss a significant amount of time because of a fractured finger.

According to ESPN Chicago's Jesse Rogers, Baez has been diagnosed with a fracture on his left ring finger, and initial speculation has him out for four to eight weeks:
