Carlos Zambrano: Thanks, But No Thanks

My latest bold proposal is for the Cubs' most expensive pitcher, not to be confused with their ace, is that Carlos Zambrano should be referred to as "Big Zero" instead of "Big Z" from now on.
Why "Zero"? Because that's about what his impact on the Cubs' pennant chances has been this season.
Over the weekend, while Zambrano was waiting in Chicago for the Cubs to return from Los Angeles, there were rumors that he was spotted playing shortstop in a local 16-inch softball league. Apparently that's how Zambrano planned on keeping his ailing back and legs from getting rusty between starts.
Then came Tuesday night, when Zambrano made his triumphant return to the mound by allowing eight runs in 4.1 innings to the worst team ...
