The 26-year-old stud, Randy Wells, is definitely someone in the running for the Rookie of the Year. He has been nothing short of dominant this year for the Cubs.
Wells, with his second team, has looked absolutely amazing this year for the Cubs. Wells, who has been lacking run support, is 4-3 with a 2.48 ERA. His record doesn't reflect how well he has pitched for the Cubs.
No pitchers in the NL are anywhere near Randy Wells. Compare the following pitchers to Wells's stats.
Kenshin Kawakami, 34, is 5-6 with a 4.26 ERA for the Atlanta Braves.
